International projects and internships are an important part of the school's learning process 19. June ivkhk_editor


In everyday activities of Ida-Virumaa Vocational Education Center international cooperation plays an important role and the strategy of internationalization is the basis for the management of international cooperation and the implementation of purposeful activities. The school's internationalization strategy defines the principles of international cooperation, taking into account new challenges and opportunities of European vocational education.

International projects and opportunities for the cooperation are selected taking into account the needs and development perspectives of the school and students.

On 3 June 2019, international conferences were held in three study places of the Ida-Virumaa Vocational Education Center - Jõhvi, Sillamäe, and Narva, where students and school staff who participated in international projects shared their impressions and experiences.

Every year, students from the Ida-Virumaa Vocational Education Center attend traineeships abroad in different countries and receive an official document - Europass (Europass Mobility) - to prove their learning experience, and adding it to a personalized learning course will definitely benefit the future.

During the 2018-2019 academic year, in the frame of  Erasmus +  project  2018-1-EE01-KA102-046858 'Developing competencies through new experiences'  and 2017-1-EE01-KA102-034680 'Discover your talent by learning from the best'  90 students have had placements and 34 workers an internship in Spain, Portugal, France, Slovenia, UK, Sweden, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Austria, Germany.

As a supplement to the local newspaper Põhjarannik on June 1, 2019, the International Projects page (Rahvusvaheliste projektide ERILEHT) was published, which gives an overview of the activities and impressions of our students.

The school is valued and recognized Partner for organizing students and employees mobilities as a sending and receiving Partner, each year the network and geography of partners expand.
